Hazrat Shah Noor Qadriya R.H was a revered Sufi saint of the Qadiri order whose name "Noor" (Divine Light) was not merely a given name but a description of his spiritual reality — those who sat in his company would report experiencing a tangible sense of illumination, as if a lamp had been lit in the darkness of their hearts. He was initiated into the Qadiriyya — the most widespread Sufi order in the world, founded by Hazrat Ghous-e-Azam Shaikh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani R.H (470–561 AH) of Baghdad — and received his spiritual training through an unbroken chain of masters connecting him directly to the great Ghous-e-Azam. He underwent rigorous spiritual disciplines under his Shaikh including prolonged periods of seclusion (chilla), fasting, night vigils, and the specific Qadiri Dhikr formulas that purify the heart and elevate the soul through the stations of spiritual perfection (maqamat).

Among his famous karamaat, it is narrated that his khanqah would sometimes be filled with an inexplicable fragrance of musk and roses during Dhikr gatherings — even in seasons when no flowers were blooming — and attendees would report seeing flashes of light during the collective remembrance of Allah. Another narration states that a man suffering from severe depression visited him and after spending just one evening in his Dhikr circle, the darkness lifted from his heart completely — he described it as "someone turning on a light inside me." He was known for his practice of the Qadiri "Dhikr-e-Jalali" (Majestic Remembrance) — a powerful form of collective Dhikr specific to the Qadiri order that creates intense spiritual states and draws divine blessings upon all participants. He taught his disciples that the Qadiri path is the path of divine light (noor) — that through consistent Dhikr and adherence to Shariah, the heart becomes polished like a mirror that reflects the light of Allah's attributes.

His annual Urs on the 6th of Muharram is observed with Gyarwee Shareef, Qadiri Dhikr gatherings, Fatiha, and Naat recitals where devotees honor this luminous saint and seek the spiritual light that continues to radiate from his legacy.
