Hazrat Khawaja Syed Muhammad al-Hussaini Gesu Daraz R.H (1321–1422 CE), known as "Banda Nawaz," was one of the greatest Chishti saints of the Deccan. He lived to over 100 years and settled in Gulbarga, Karnataka. His shrine is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in South India.
