Hazrat Syed Abul Hussain Ahmed Noori R.H was a distinguished scholar, spiritual guide, and towering personality of Marhera Shareef, Uttar Pradesh, India — one of the most important centers of Ahl-e-Sunnat scholarship and spirituality in the Indian subcontinent. He was a descendant of the noble Sayyid lineage, tracing his ancestry back to the blessed household of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through Hazrat Imam Hussain R.A. From his earliest years, he was immersed in the study of the Quran, Hadith, Fiqh, and Tasawwuf under the guidance of the senior scholars of Marhera Shareef.

He was known for his deep knowledge of Islamic sciences, his strict adherence to the Sunnah in every aspect of his life, and his extraordinary spiritual states that attracted seekers from across India. His spiritual gatherings were marked by an atmosphere of profound reverence, where attendees would experience a deep connection to the Divine through his blessed company. He played a vital role in maintaining and strengthening the scholarly and spiritual legacy of Marhera Shareef, training numerous students who went on to serve Islam across the subcontinent.

He was a staunch defender of the Ahl-e-Sunnat creed and authored several works clarifying matters of faith and practice for the Muslim community. His devotion to the Prophet ﷺ was legendary — he would weep profusely at the mention of the Prophet's ﷺ name and would observe all the Sunnahs with meticulous care. His annual Wisaal on the 11th of Rajab is commemorated with Fatiha, Quran recitation, scholarly gatherings, and Naat recitals, drawing devotees from across Uttar Pradesh and beyond who come to honor his blessed memory.
